Virginia "Ginny" Aneloski

Jul 3, 1926 – May 7, 2025

Service Details

A celebration of life and burial were held at Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL, with grandson-in-law, Pastor David Landy, officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO. Burial arrangements were coordinated by Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Wi.

Virginia Aneloski, affectionately known as Ginny to those who loved her, was born on July 3, 1926, in Chicago, IL. She departed this life just shy of her 99th birthday on May 7, 2025.

Ginny married the love of her life, George Aneloski, a proud veteran of the United States Army Air Corps, on September 2, 1944. George and Ginny shared 74 wonderful years of marriage, filled with many friends, a large family, and travels around the world. Some of their favorite trips included Australia and New Zealand, as well as yearly excursions to South Padre Island with friends. Ginny also enjoyed trips with her daughters to Hawaii and New York before settling down with George in Lampe, MO, where the family continued to build many lasting memories.

Ginny was preceded in death by her husband, George of Lampe, MO; her parents; one sister; and one granddaughter, Lisa Maurer.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Eaton and husband Bob of Racine, WI, and Pamela Lindsay and husband Bob of Weatherford, TX; five granddaughters, Kelli O’Neal, Jodie Bochinski and husband Jerrod, Darcey Lara and husband Arthur, Lindsey Landy and husband David, and Elizabeth Burdick and husband Bryce; fourteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
