Adam B. Carpino, 28, died at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital on September 2, 2011.  A victim of a hit and run accident while on his motorcycle, Adam was taken far too early from those who loved him.

A lifelong resident of Racine, Adam was born on June 28, 1983. He attended Park High School and graduated from Gateway Technical College.  He received a degree in welding while also earning dean's list honors.  Adam worked as a welder for Topper Manufacturing and recently started with Pinnacle Precision before his accident.

Adam had two passions in life, motorcycles and family.  He enjoyed racing and being in the presence of the family he loved.  He will be truly missed.

He is survived by mother, Brenda (Kevin) Briscoe; his father, Edward (Elizabeth Johnson) Carpino; brothers, Matthew (Janet) Carpino, Justin Ticknor, Trevor Briscoe; his girlfriend, Kristina Donaldson all of Racine; his faithful dog and companion, Sherman Tank; as well as grandparents, cousins and many dear friends.

Family and friends are invited to meet at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. for a service that will honor and celebrate Adam's life.  There will be a visitation in the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.  Adam will be cremated after the service and a private committal will take place.  In lieu of flowers, please consider attending a benefit in honor of Adam at Paradise West Lanes (6501 Washington Ave.) on Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 12:30 until 11:30 p.m.  All are welcome to attend.
