Service Details

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory 4600 county line road  Mt Pleasant  Wi 53403 on Sunday, July 10, 2022, for a visitation from 12 pm – 1:00 pm. 

 

A service celebrating and honoring her life will follow at 1:00 p.m.

MOUNT PLEASANT – Addie Bains, 71, passed away at her residence and went home to her Lord on Sunday, July 3, 2022.

    Addie was born in Belzoni, MS on December 18, 1950, the daughter of the late Sammie and Ella Mae(Durr) Cooper.  She graduated from  Gentry High school and attended college to further her education.  She later moved to  Chicago and married Pummy Bains on March 29, 1995.  He would be her soul mate, loving husband, as well as travel, and business partner.

   Addie worked at Norgetown Restoration as well as owning and operating a FedEx contractor from 2000 until 2019 and is currently the  AAA Insurance agency that they opened In  2014.

    Addie’s faith in God was very important to her.  She enjoyed traveling with her husband as they traveled around the world, listening to music, attending concerts, cruises, and winning trips to the casinos. 

   In addition to her loving husband, Pummy, Addie is survived by her daughters, Stacy and Stephanie Fowler; her sisters, Dorothy, Louise, Willie Mae, and Thelma; her dear grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and extended family; as well as her employees, co-workers, and dear friends, especially, Annette Donegon and Paulette Bakalars.  Addie was also preceded in death by her son, Jerome Fowler, and her sister, Fannie Mae.
