Agnes H. Borchert, 86, passed away at the Age Well for Life Enrichment Center, in Green Bay, on Friday, February 22, 2019. Mrs. Borchert was born in Racine, on September 23, 1932, the daughter of the late Milton and Alice (nee: Justus) Korn.
On December 21, 1958, in the Plymouth Congregational Church, she was united in marriage to Erwin Borchert, who preceded her in death on November 21, 2001. Mrs. Borchert had been employed by the Belle City Veterinary Clinic. While living in Racine, she was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. In Green Bay, she attended services at the facility in their chapel. She enjoyed playing Scrabble, Bingo, Facebook, and Words With Friends. Agnes spent many hours volunteering at the Racine Lutheran High School Thrift Shop. Her greatest love came from being with her family, especially the grandchildren, feeding them M&Ms, chocolate covered raisins, and Weathers Candy, always with a grandmother's love.
Surviving are her four children, Faith (David) Sutton, Cindy (Mark) Korrison, Larry (Jodi) Borchert, and Robert (Paulette) Borchert; eight grandchildren, Michael (Jessica) Boggs, Tammy (Andrew) Hoisington, Brian (Shannyn) Studey, Katie (Scott McPherson) Studey , Kevin Borchert, Erica Borchert, Chrystal (Dustin) Chacon, and Cory Borchert; twelve great- grandchildren, Christopher (Rebecca) Wiedholz, Brenden, Evan, Jacob, Kaylee, Taylor, Mya, Damian, Braylon, Jace, Paisley, and Mateo; great-great grandson, Blake.
Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, February 28 th , at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Leland L. Longrie officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park.
