Albert "Jack" Simpson passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Ascension-All Saints in Racine.
Jack was born to the union of George and Angeles (nee: Rush) Simpson, on August 10, 1943 in Marion, Arkansas.
As a young man Jack moved to Memphis, TN. There he was employed by the Memphis Sherriff's Department. Ten years later Jack Moved to Racine, Wisconsin where he was a bus driver for the city's public transportation. He was also a truck driver for Diamond Transportation.
Jack was a faithful member of Holy Disciple Pentecostal Church. He served many years on the usher board.
Jack loved his entire family, especially his "black beauty". He was there for anyone who needed him; from the use of his truck to move, words of guidance, or encouragement he was always willing to help.

Gregory Trotter-Simpson, Milwaukee, WI. Step-children; Carolyn Bell, Daniel Bell, both of Racine, WI. Anita bell, Indianapolis, IN. Grandchildren; Cory Lee, Cam'airee Simpson, Nykisha Trotter, Sir Newton Lee, Barbara Lee, A'nia Barber, and Cam'yiah Barber. 3 Sisters; Florence Simpson-Crowell, Charlene McLaurin, both of Memphis, TN. Ruby (Pastor A. W.) Scaife, Racine, WI. 1 Sister-in-law; Dora Simpson, Racine, WI. 1 Aunt; Arizona Wilson, Chicago, IL. Special friend and companion; Ruby Rockett. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. Special mention; Annie Roscoe, Jo Ann Lee, Evelyn Trotter, Charles Grace, "Pee wee" Hayes, Bradley Meinholz. Special caregiver Ellen Lewis.
Jack was preceded in dealth by his parents, 1 Sister; Levader Lee, 3 Brothers; Cledis Simpson, Frege Simpson, and Bobby Simpson.
Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday, June 21, 2018 for a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A service celebrating Jack's life and Homegoing will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor A.W. Scaife officiating. His interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
