Alisha Tarshea Gordon Gister was born on September 1,1977 in Memphis, TN to Gertrude Gordon and Alfreddie Joplin. In 1989, she moved to Racine, WI. She was a working and loving mother to seven children. Alisha was very family oriented, she enjoyed entertainment, cooking, spending time with her grandchildren, and she was VERY photogenic. There was nothing Alisha did not enjoy doing with family and friends. Eventually she married the love of her life, Tyrone M Gister Sr. Alisha leaves to cherish her memory, Jeremy Koker Jr, Lamont Koker, Amiyia Koker, Tarvis Koker, Tylicia Gister, Tyrone Gister Jr , Raekwon Anderson, Akeem Smith, Jamie Gordon Jr, Keshari Gordon , Linda Wilson, Wanda Joplin, Villarrell (Nani), Pamela Joplin, Jamie Gordon Sr (Veronica), Patrick Gordon, Tarvis Gordon, Floyd Cooper, Herman Haynes, and Shandrika Gordon, all of Racine, WI.; Charlene Lewis of Rantoul IL,  Antonio Baker, and Antinika Joplin, both of Turrell, AR; son and daughter-in-law, Jordan Harmon Sr and Deondrea Flowers; special sister/ mother and sons Pamela Joplin,  Brandon Joplin and James smith Jr. She leaves seven grandchildren, Lamont Koker Jr, Kinsley Koker, India Koker, Ja'Miya Harmon, True Koker, Jordan Harmon Jr, and J. Harmon. Alisha will also be remembered by her special nieces, Regina Slack and Desiree Bell; favorite cousins, Robert Earl Boclair and Michael Danner; her special friend, Daniesha Sutton; her best friends, Rebecca Clay, Sharee Koker, Serica Jennings, Christina Davis, Madison Christen, and a host of other nieces , nephews , cousins , and relatives. Alisha was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Shonda Barnes and Rhonda Gordon; one brother, Cedrick Gordon; one niece, Kadejah Gordon, and one cousin, Latoya Lewis.

Service Details

Her Homegoing Service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, July 10th at 12 O'clock Noon. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
