Allan K. Roberts, age 92, passed away at Aurora Hospital on September 23, 2026. A lifelong resident of Racine, he was born on July 4, 1934, something that he was very proud of, to his parents Elmer and Bernice (Berry) Roberts. Allan graduated from Washington Park High School class of 1952. On October 22, 1955, Allan married Freda L. Christiansen at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, in Racine. 

He served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1957.

Allan started out briefly at Case Co., but then pursued his career as a United States Postal Carrier. He was a city carrier, having numerous routes throughout Racine for many years. He then switched to rural carrier for his remaining carrier years. He enjoyed his work and held many jobs throughout his life. Including school bus driver, Milwaukee newspaper, Gateway Technical College, and Lakeside International Truck, among others. He did what he knew best. He worked and he provided. He was always concerned about others and always willing to lend a helping hand.                                                            His family, especially his children, and grandchildren were extremely important to him.  Allan also enjoyed his baseball. He  followed the Cubs team for many years. Anyone who knew him knew how meticulous he was about his cars and the pride he took in caring for his vehicles. He was also a member of the ASPCA and was always willing to give to the animals. His own dog, Annie, held a special place in his heart, and we are happy that he is reunited with her, as well as our loved ones.

We are sad and brokenhearted that you are gone, Dad, but we are glad that you are healthy, happy, and at peace. We will miss you and Mom until we see you both again. Now is your time to rest easy, Dad. You deserve it!

Allan is survived by his daughter and sons, Charyl (Chris) Callewaert, Barry Roberts, Randy (Gayle) Roberts, and Darrell Roberts; his granddaughters, Heather (Jason) Lopez, Stephanie Callewaert, Jamie Price, Lori (Justin) Odders, and Sarah (Tony) Povkovich; his grandsons, David (Tiffany) Roberts, Michael (Heather) Olsen, and Robert (Chie) Rios; and many loving great-grandchildren, Eliana, Elijah, Eliseo Lupercio, Javen Lopez, Kevaeya Dorsey, Elias Price, Darick Montgomery Jr., Alicia and Makayla Olsen, Carter Brown, Sydney and Casey Roberts, Vala, Isis, and Siris Rios, Reid and Sylvia Odders, Addyson, Aubrianna, and Nico Povkovich. He is further survived by his sister, Dianne Doolittle.

Allan was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Freda; his son, Dennis; his great-grandson, Jason Lopez Jr.; his daughter-in-law, Evangeline Rios-Roberts; his brothers-in-law, Kris Christiansen and Bob Doolittle; his sister-in-law, Barbara Christiansen; and his special canine companion, Annie.

The family would like to thank Korah and Heather for helping take care of Grandpa Allan this last year. We don’t know what we would have done without you both!

Funeral services for Allan will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home. A visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Allan will be laid to rest at West Lawn Memorial Park immediately following the service.
