Amber Antoinette Beavers, age 27, was born in Racine in September 15, 1990 to April Beavers and LoNicki Jackson. Amber entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. Amber received her education in Racine, and graduated from Horlick High School in 2008. She was attending Gateway Technical College in pursuit of a business degree.
Amber attended church with her grandmother at Christ Community Church. In her earlier years she was active in the youth congress and choir at Rose of Sharon C.L.G. under the spiritual guidance of Bishop Q. Grice and Pastor Virginia Lackey.
Amber began her employment experience at the age of 16 working at Woodstock Health & Rehab Center as a Dietary Aide. She moved on to working retail at Value Village, but added to her healthcare experience when she landed a job with Above and Beyond Adult Family Homes as a caregiver. Pursuing better pay to meet her family's needs she took a position with Homes for Independent Living where she worked until her departure.
Amber was blessed with two beautiful children, 11 year old Amberiya and 3 week old Alijah.
Amber had a passion for putting great and wonderful hairstyles together. She enjoyed doing hair, going to the movies, listening to music, going out for a nice meal and happy conversation.
Survivors include her children: Amberiya Beavers and Alijah Beavers both of Racine; mother April (LaRue) Gary of Milwaukee; father LoNicki Jackson of Racine; grandparents: Joe and Laura Jones of Racine, and L.B. Jones of Oxford, Mississippi; sister Jasmine Horton of Orlando, Florida; brothers: Dontell Jackson of St. Paul, Minnesota, Abram Tatum, Ahmad Beavers, Ahmed Beavers all of Racine, LaRue Gary of Milwaukee, and LoNicki Jackson Jr of Orlando, Florida; 7 step-brothers and 3 step-sisters including a very special step-brother LoShon Stevens of Racine. She is also survived by her 4 best friends who all played a special role in her life, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to cherish her memories. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents: General & Ruby Jackson and Holmon & Maggie Beavers; grandmother Linda McCracken; grandfatherClifford Yarbrough; great aunt Helen Tyler; Aunt Chaute Tyler; great-uncles: David Tyler, Robert Honeycutt, Bobby Jackson, Jerry Jackson; and Hayes Jackson; cousins: Deonta Lezine, Fojaun Bell, and Keisha Nash-Gilliam
Complete services will be held in the funeral home on Friday morning, June 29, 2018. Visitation from 9:30-11:00, followed by her homegoing service at 11:00. Interment will take place in Mound Cemetery. Memorials to the family are kindly suggested.
