Andy Bill Hamilton, Jr. "Lil A.B.", age 68, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare Center.

Andy was born March 16, 1948 in Okolona, Mississippi to the late Andy Bill Hamilton, Sr. and Rachel Donaldson-Hamilton. He was a lifelong resident of Racine. Andy accepted Christ into his life during his illness and was a member of Zoe Outreach Ministries. He worked as a truck driver and master mechanic, as he enjoyed working with his hands.

Andy leaves to cherish his memory….six children, Shannon Jones of Arizona; Andrew, Mark, Nicole and Michael Hamilton; and Adrianne Greer, all of Racine; four step-children, Jamie Greer of Minnesota; Aretha and Timothy Abbott, and Montrael Greer, all of Racine; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 7 aunts; special uncle, Claude "Uncle Bubba" Hamilton; 3 very special friends, Deborah Abbott, Lourie Bonner and Bobby Wallace, as well as a host of cousins and friends—too numerous to mention by name.

He was preceded in death by his father, Andy B. Hamilton, Sr.; mother, Rachel Donaldson—Hamilton; step-mother, Frances Hamilton; and by his grandparents.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 11:00 am with Pastor Melvin D. Hargrove officiating. Viewing will be in the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Private burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
