Obituary

RACINE  – Angie Lee Foots was called home by her two angels who preceded her in death her mother Lillie Foots  and sister Lori Foots, in the early morning of October 17th, 2023.

Angie was born October 29th, 1966 to Robert Lee Foots and Lillie B. (Taylor) Foots in Racine, WI. Angie attended Horlick High School. She also worked various jobs and was well known around Racine.  Angie has always been a fighter, be it  in health or life itself.  Angie definitely loved her children, her family, but most of all she loved, cared for and lived for her grandchildren.

Angie loved  music, playing spades, cooking, dancing, sports and family gatherings where she was known to say what was on her mind and would dare you to say something back.  She didn't mind jacking you up by your shirt if there was a need for it. Angie grew closer to God through the years and she started attending church and reading her Bible daily. She  enjoyed praying  often with others to lift her spirits and to comfort others.

Angie is survived by her Fiancé Cornell Finley, children; two sons Earl Lee Cox Jr., Robert Darnell Cox and one daughter Regina Monea Dyess. Five Grandchildren; Marquarius Dyess, Jaylin Dyess, Bre'Anna Dyess, Aydon Avila-Cox, and , Kylen Availa-Cox; Two brothers; Bobby Lee Foots (Catherine Price), Terry Lee Griffith and two sisters Edna Warren and Janice Foots. She leaves to cherish her memory a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other close family and friends including Her favorite cousin Vinnie (Peet) Cotton; nieces and nephews; Lakisha Morgan, Tavoiya (Foots) Bell,  Latrisha (Howard) Neal , Shaniqua Griffith, Terry Griffith Jr, Shay Wells, Robert (lil Rob) Foots, Kierra Gardner, Kobe Gardner, Kenberly Davidson, Terrion Griffith, Alianna Griffith, and TaMari Clark-Griffith. Angie was also preceded in death by her father Robert Lee Foots and other Beloved Family members.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, for a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.   A service celebrating her life and Homegoing will follow at 11:00 a.m.
