Obituary

Annie Belle Dunn, age 74, of Racine, WI passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026.

Annie was born to Willie R. Dunn, Sr. and Christine Mitchell-Petty on March 20, 1952 in Decatur, GA. Annie moved to Evanston, IL where she lived for quite a few years to be closer to her family. She then moved to Racine, WI where she finally started building her life. Annie worked as a supervisor at Andis Clippers for 8 years. She made many friends which were like family to her. Annie then made a career change to custodial services at Gateway Technical College. As time went on, Annie began having health issues which caused her to retire. She became more involved with her church, and did spend time with her family, which she loved. Annie would proclaim it's "Family Day", and everyone would get dressed and ready to attend church with her. Annie loved listening to her favorite music, cooking, playing cards and board games.

Annie leaves to mourn, her fiancé, Billy Cobb, Sr.; sons, Demetrious Dunn and Antwane Dunn; daughter, Tiwanna Dunn; sister, Linda Clark; brothers, Willie Dunn, Jr., Albert Dunn, Tracy Petty, Julius Petty and Eddie J. Anderson; grandkids, Jodeci Perine (Dunn), Jeffery Dunn, Diquan Dunn, Alexander Dunn, Demetrianna Dunn, Tianna Dunn, Antonio Dunn-Villarreal, Amaya Dunn, Carnell Dunn, Aminah Dunn; godchild, Mychal Bello. Annie leaves behind a host of great grandkids, stepchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends and acquaintances who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her mother, Christine and father, Willie; sisters, Dorothy Jackson and Lula Gibbs; brothers, Walter Dunn and James Bowen, Sr.

Service Details

A Homegoing Service to celebrate Annie's life will be held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 5:00PM with Minister Michael Martin as officiant. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00PM until the time of service. A private interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery.
