Mrs. Shawver, 76, passed away in St. Mary's Medical Center, Racine, WI on Sunday, February 5, 2006. She was born in Belden, MS on April 8, 1929, the daughter of the late Curly and Hattie (nee: Kemp) Scott. Mrs. Shawver came to Racine two weeks ago to with her family. Surviving are her numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Argalie Shawver; her bother Edgar Scott, as well as 2 sisters Minnie Osborne and Helen Scott. Her Homegoing Services will be held in the Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Blue Springs, MS, on Saturday, February 11th. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery. The family has suggested memorials to the Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
