Anthony A. DeCaro, age 72, passed away on July 14, 2026, at Aurora St. Lukes Medical Center in Milwaukee with his family by his side. He was born on August 22, 1953, in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Guido and Anne (Gaudard) DeCaro.

Tony met Cathy Pittenturf on Mother's Day in May of 1991 and they married on August 6th, 1994.

Tony loved listening to "the oldies" like Frank Sinatra and Elvis. He was a sports enthusiast of the Bears and the White Sox and watched them onTV when they played. He was happiest when he was surrounded by his family during their many get togethers and was known for always bringing the meatballs.

Tony is survived by his wife of almost 32 years, Cathy; children Valerie DeCaro – Garcia, Dominique (Tom) Hadley, and Nicholas (Jennifer) DeCaro; grandchildren, Dominick DeCaro, Anna Garcia, Luca Garcia, Madyson (Bennett) Bruner, and Dalton Hadley; great-granddaughter, Violet DeCaro; siblings, Joseph DeCaro, Guido (Judy) DeCaro, Richard DeCaro, Therese Berry, and James (Carol) DeCaro; and many nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Anthony M. DeCaro; granddaughter, Evey Marie DeCaro; and sister-in-law, Sandy DeCaro.

A memorial visitation will be held at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m.
