~~KENOSHA – Barbara A. (nee: Wernicke) Hayward, 63, was reunited with her mother, Georgia Shepard on Thursday, March 27, 2014, after a short illness.  Barb was born in Racine, WI on October 23, 1950, to Floyd and Georgia Wernicke.  She was united in marriage to Mike Hayward on March 12, 1993.  Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Georgia and step-father Chester Shepard.  She is survived by her devoted husband, Mike; father, Floyd (Dorothy); brothers, David (Lori) Wernicke, Rick (Tammy) Shepard, Jeff Wernicke; nephews, Nick Wernicke and Devin (Tiffany) Shepard; their children, Landon and Avalyn and nieces, Sydney and Julia Wernicke.   The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice Alliance House in Racine.   In honor of Barb's wishes there will be no services held.  Memorials may be directed to Hospice Alliance of Pleasant Prairie or to the American Cancer Society.
