Barbara (nee: Ely) Miller, age 66, of Chicago, found peace from her third battle with cancer on October 18, 2021. Barbara was born in Chicago, on August 8, 1955, the daughter of the late Ruth (nee: Pearson) and Michael Ely.
In 1971, Barbara married Paul Edward Miller in Chicago, who preceded her in death in 2014.
For over 20 years Barbara worked as a dispatch operator for Seko Trucking, retiring in 2005. In her free time, she loved to watch old television shows and movies, specifically the old westerns. She also loved her cats, especially “Baby,” her most recent cat that she adopted as a rescue kitten.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Edward (Judy) Miller; and her grandchildren Kayla and Hanna.
