Obituary

Barbara E. Pagenkopf, 96, passed away at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. Barb was born in Kenosha on December 2, 1929, the daughter of the late Isaac and Loretta (nee: Groth) Egvedt.

Barb was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford. On December 9, 1950, in Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, she was united in marriage to Eugene "Gene" R. Pagenkopf. He preceded her in death on January 29, 2020, after 69 years of marriage. She loved relaxing in "God's Country"- Northern Wisconsin. She was a loyal Green Bay Packer, Milwaukee Brewer, and NASCAR fan. She was the true definition of a "Family Woman".

Surviving are her daughters, Pamela Perugini, Susan (Lee) Zapp, and Linda (Michael) Petersen; grandchildren, Timothy Breckenfeld, Christy Baughman, Brian (Joanna) Zapp, Kelly (Scott) Gehke, and Gene Petersen, adored great grandchildren, Emily, Andrew, Lyla, Lily, Olivia, Jenna, Aiden, Aubrey, and Brody; brother, Kenneth (Vicky) Egvedt, brother-in-law, Norm Stellick, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Barb was preceded in death by her daughter, Judith Dunham, son-in-law, Sam Perugini, sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Stellick, and Nancy (Ray) Seiberlich, Pat (Robert) Blosser.

Service Details

There will be a private funeral service held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
