Barbara Lee Patterson, 70, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 21, 2016. She was born in Racine on February 20, 1946, the daughter of the late Robert and Janet (nee: Becker) Bush. Barbara had been employed by Value Village.  She was affectionately known to her grandchildren and great- grandchildren as "GiGi". They were the center of her life. She had a big heart and could sit and talk to anyone for hours. She always could find the positives in life. Surviving are her children, Kristin K. Struebing, Karren Brumm, both of Racine, Steven (Lynn) Meyer, of Waterford, Kevin Leys, of Kenosha, and Andrew Patterson, of Racine; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two brothers, Jeff Aldrich, in California, Jay (Patty) Aldrich, of Kenosha, two sisters, Julie (Archie) Landerman, of Racine, Nancy Aldrich, in Portland, OR. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive her. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by an infant son, Paul, and her step-father, Dr. David "Doc" Aldrich. There will a memorial service later this year.
