Bessie Lois Goss, 61, of St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Bessie was born on June 7, 1965, in Itta Bena, Mississippi, to Martha Goss and Willie Rush. She spent most of her life working as an Account Resolution Specialist in the finance industry. She was known for her generosity, her infectious laugh, and, most of all, her deep love for her family.

She enjoyed listening to music, playing Call of Duty, watching the Lakers and the Vikings, spending time with the family dog, Brooklyn, and, most importantly, being with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

She is survived by her children, Courtney Combs and Lorinza "Jamaal" Foster; her grandsons, Jaylin-Anthony Combs and Jamaal Foster; her mother, Martha Goss; her brothers, Timothy Goss and Ali Goss; her sisters, Mary Rush and Barbara Rush; her nieces, Kamara Barkley and Dajsha Oliver Goss; and her nephews, Tayshawn Goss, Isaiah Williams Goss, and Ali Goss Jr.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Rush; her sister, Barbara Goss-Gonzalez; her niece, Divinity Matovu; and her nephew, Deante Goss. She also leaves behind several great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will cherish her memory.

A visitation will be held at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on July 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. until Noon. A homegoing will follow at Noon. Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.
