~~ Betty Lou Liilian Jardee, 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Racine, on March 14, 1926, the daughter of the late John and Annie Neels. On August 3, 1946, here in Racine, she was united in marriage to Robert S. Jardee, who preceded her in death on March 24, 2000. In her younger years, she had been employed by Oster Mfg. and Hamilton Beach until she started to raise her family. Mrs. Jardee enjoyed crafting, gardening, and cooking. Her number one priority in life was her family. Surviving are her sons and their wives, Stan (Sue) Jardee, of Franksville, and Randy (Dawn) Jardee, of Union Grove; four grandchildren, Danielle and Amy Jardee, both of Winter Park, CO, Erin (Michael Bevan) Jardee, and Evan Jardee, all of Greenfield, WI, and sister-in-law Alice Jardee, of Racine. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive her. In addition to her parents, and beloved husband, Mrs. Jardee was preceded in death by her daughter, Kristine Jardee, and son, Kurt Jardee. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 22nd, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home, with Chaplain Cindy Farmer officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
