Mt. Pleasant – Beverly Ann Stulac, age 91, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2024 at AccentCare Hospice in Wauwatosa.

Beverly was born in Racine on March 26, 1933 to the late Alex and Lydia (nee: Hlava) Kleiber. She was a 1952 graduate of St. Catherine’s High School. On April 24, 1954 in St. Edward’s Catholic Church, Bev was united in marriage with the love of her life, James F. Stulac. They were married for 64 years. Her world was never the same after Jim passed away on June 26, 2018.

Bev was a longtime member of St. Lucy Catholic Church and the St. Bonaventure Auxiliary. Among her hobbies, she enjoyed sewing and paper card embroidery. After retirement, Jim and Bev spent winters in Pharr, Texas beginning in 2002.

Surviving are her children, Barbara (Scott) Larrabee and James D. Stulac; grandchildren, Michael (Cherish) Larrabee and Jennifer (Cody) Schuld; great-grandchildren, Tyce & Klint Larrabee and Remington & Delilah Schuld; niece, Francine (Len Jr.) Felske; nephew, Daniel Stulac; other relatives and friends – too numerous to mention all by name.

In addition to her parents and husband, Bev was preceded in death by her son, Timothy James Stulac (passed away on May 30, 2002); brother-in-law, Frank (Cynthia) Stulac; and by Jim’s parents, Frank and Stella (nee: Koniezko) Stulac.

Sad to see Bev has passed. I enjoyed becoming friends with her and Jim while I was their mail lady. She made two sets of curtains for my kitchen when we bought our house in 2006 and I’m still using them today! The world is a bit sadder today.

Testimonials

October 22, 2015

After the passing of our loved one, the time came to make the arrangements for his funeral and we couldn’t have asked for anyone more kind and caring as Mark was. He picked up on all the little details and things we held close to our hearts and made the celebration of this wonderful man’s life very special. Even playing taps along with the honor guard, Mark we can’t thank you enough…our heartfelt thanks go out to you and the staff.
Sincerely, THE GENE GRABHER FAMILY

Linda
