Racine– Beverly Jane (nee: Jenkins) Dupuis, 70, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, January 21, 2011.

Beverly was born in Danville, IL on November 11, 1940 to the late Herman and Mary Jane (nee: Kelley) Jenkins. She graduated from Racine Lutheran High School in 1958. On February 27, 1960 in Zion Lutheran Church, she was united in marriage with the love of her life, Arthur J. Dupuis, who preceded her in death on March 24, 2009.

Earlier in life, Bev was employed by Western Publishing and Great Northern. In more recent years, she truly enjoyed being employed as a receptionist for the Martinson Insurance Company, where she loved working among friends. Beverly was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening, Americana decorating, cross-stitching, and playing cards – especially with her card club girls. Above all, she loved and cherished being in the surroundings of her entire family – especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, Jeffrey (Robin) Monson-Dupuis of Greenfield; Kevin (Tonya) Dupuis of Racine; and Christopher (Veronica) Dupuis of Caledonia; grandchildren, Deva and Ethan Monson-Dupuis; Brittany, Tyler and Cody Dupuis; Aliah and Terra Papara; and Jackson Dupuis; beloved sister, JoAnn Brinkman; aunt, Juanita Stuebe; sisters-in-law, Anna, Florence and Arlene Dupuis; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention by name.

In addition to her parents and husband, Beverly was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Wilfred "Bill", Richard and Gilbert Dupuis; and Fred "Fritz" Brinkman; and sister-in-law, Helen (Ken) Thatcher.

A memorial service celebrating Beverly's life will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 725 High Street, at 10:30 am with Rev. Susan K. Smith officiating. A reception will follow at Infusino's Banquet Hall. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday, from 9-10:30 am.
