MOUNT PLEASANT – Mrs. Beverly J. Wilson, 88, passed away peacefully at her residence, Primerose Retirement Community, on Sunday, November 22, 2015.
She was born in Milwaukee on July 26, 1927, the daughter of the late Arthur and Mildred (nee: Henke) Loehner. She graduated from William Horlick High School.
On September 7, 1946 she married James B. Wilson. He preceded her in death on July 16, 1982. Nine years later she married Donald G. Wilson on December 13, 1991. He preceded her in death on July 3, 2015.
Mrs. Wilson was a longtime member of Atonement Lutheran Church. She cherished her time and memories with family at Shalimar in the north woods. Mrs. Wilson was happiest, however, when she was in the presence of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Claudia (John) Berges of Rolla, MO, Judith (Charles) Jones of Madison, Katherine (Jay) Pieper of Shawano, James (Kristin) Wilson of Racine; her step-children, Nancy (Gary) Schlei of Madison, Larry (Mary) Wilson of Caledonia, Donald (Sally) Wilson of Franksville, Paul (Julie) Wilson of Colorado, Margie (Chuck) Schaus of Florida, Jane (Mark) Goessl of Waterford, Elizabeth Boyd of Two Rivers, WI, Andrew (Tracy) Wilson of Colorado, David (Debbie) Wilson of Milwaukee, Steve (Marimae) Wilson of Racine; 30 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, whom she adored; her sister, June (Fred) Sewell of Racine as well as many dear nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Donna (Bill) Heffel and her sisters, Judy Loehner and Dorothy Hart.
Family and friends are invited to meet to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 3-4 pm for a visitation and time to meet with her family. A service celebrating her life will follow at 4:00 pm with Chaplain Howard Edwards officiating. Her interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park on Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. Those wishing to attend should meet at gate.
