Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, August 20th, at 11:00 a.m., with  Rev. Dr. Warren Williams officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on that Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Private burial will take place in Graceland Cemetery. The family wishes to acknowledge the entire staff of the Woods of Caledonia and Allay Hospice for the compassion and care they gave Beverly in her final days and the wonderful friends who were always a phone call or visit away.

Beverly M. Vite, 82, passed away in the Woods of Caledonia, on Friday, August 9, 2019. She was born in Fond du Lac, WI on July 22, 1937 the daughter of the late Edgar and Pearl (nee: Bell) Mueller and step mother Elizabeth Mueller.

On February 1, 1958, in Atonement Lutheran Church, she was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Richard W. Vite, who preceded her in death on April 26, 1981. Beverly worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for many years at Sweete Auto Supply until she found her passion as the Assistant Administrator at Atonement Child Care.  Beverly said working with children every day was the best job in the world. Bev enjoyed traveling, family vacations, weekly family dinners, crocheting, working in her flower garden, volunteering at the Racine Literacy Council, reading, and forever learning. Two of her favorite trips was a month in Alaska and traveling out west to see the wagon ruts on the Oregon Trail. Colorado was a favorite to explore mountains, ride trains and mountain bike ride. Bev cherished her family and creating memories with them. You would find her at brigade competitions, volleyball and softball games, and cheering at baseball games for each of her grandchildren. Christmas will forever be magical because of Grandma Bev.

Surviving are her children, Timothy Vite of Racine, Steven (Mary) Vite, of Denver, CO, Lisa (Steven) Sadowski, of Racine, and forever daughter-in-law, Tammy Vite; three grandchildren, Rebekah (Benjamin) Vite-Greshwalk of Dayton, MN, Rachel Beverly Vite of Green Bay, WI, and Alexander Sadowski; sister, Jane (Wayne) Wachtveitl, of Dayton, NV sister-in-law Yoshiko Vite of Kenosha and brother-in-law Steven Vite of Minneapolis, MN.  She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Edgar Mueller and Pearl Paessler, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Richard (Dick) Vite; step mother, Elizabeth Mueller, brothers, Don (Vivian) Mueller, John Mueller, and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lester and Adlen Vite.

Testimonials

David Fleury

Mike,
Words cannot adequately convey our gratitude for all you did to honor our family member and friend, Mert Fleury. Like with her husband Ray, years ago, you and your staff went above and beyond to help us through this difficult time and to give Mert a wonderful celebration of her life. Every detail was considered, all of our requests were given unfailing attention, and the little extras took our breath away. Every sad feeling and every tear was matched two-fold with feelings of gratitude and comfort because of what you did. We will be forever grateful!
The Fleury Family
