Bonnie Chady, 77, of Racine, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on May 21, 2026.
Bonnie was born on September 14, 1948, in Bismarck, the daughter of Elenora and Floyd Doolittle. She graduated from William Horlick High School. Throughout her life, Bonnie worked in several roles, including at Warren Manufacturing, Chartwell Food Service, and with SEIU Local 152.
On April 13, 1968, Bonnie married the love of her life, Donald, and together they shared 56 wonderful years of marriage. Bonnie and Don spent their retirement enjoying what mattered most to them — traveling and spending cherished time with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Bonnie took immense pride in her family and loved every moment spent with them.

She is further survived by her sister, Diane (Art) Hansen; sister-in-law, Dianne Doolittle; and sister-in-law, Donna Boetcher.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her daughter, Claudia Chady; her husband, Donald Chady; her parents, Elenora and Floyd Doolittle; her mother-in-law, Mabel Chady; her father-in-law, Harold Chady; her brother-in-law, George Boetcher; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Arydce and Maynard Schuessler; her brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Sherry Doolittle; her sister, Gloria Doolittle and her brother, Bob Doolittle.
Bonnie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services celebrating Bonnie's life will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 5:00 pm in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home. A memorial dinner will follow. Viewing will be in the funeral home on Friday, June 12 th , from 3-5 pm. In memory of Bonnie, offer a kind deed to someone in need.
