This was Bonnie’s greatest wish!

Kenosha – Bonnie F. (nee: Boeselager) Stemplewski, age 61, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 18, 2021 following a courageous battle with cancer.

Bonnie was born in West Bend, WI on October 27, 1959 to Jack and Irene (nee: Krueger) Boeselager. She proudly served our country with the United States Navy for 20 years, 7 months & 23 days, attaining rank of Master at Arms Senior Chief (Surface and Aviation Warfare Qualified) aboard the USS John C. Stennis CVN74, retiring as Senior Chief E8 Master at Arms on June 30, 1999.

On February 21, 1997, Bonnie was united in marriage with her soulmate, Ronald Stemplewski. She was a lifetime member of the Kenosha VFW Post 1865 and a member of the Kenosha Moose Lodge #286. She enjoyed working outside in her flower gardens, bowling, Lake Michigan boating & relaxing with her Racine Reefpoint Marina Dock Devils family.

Surviving are her husband, Ronald; sons, Joshua Adam Johnson and Eric (Joanie) Stemplewski; granddaughter, Sora Stemplewski; mother, Irene Boeselager; sisters & brothers, Larry (Joann Galica) Boeselager, Linda Boeselager, Bruce Boeselager, Scott (Mary Beth) Boeselager and Sherry (Brian) Irek; sister-in-law, Issy Sparks; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Diana) Stemplewski; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends – too numerous to mention all by name.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, Jack Boeselager in 2016; mother-in-law, Kimiko Stemplewski in 2015; and father-in-law, Ronald E. Stemplewski in 1997.

Services celebrating Bonnie’s life will be held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Military honors will follow. To Irene, Linda and all the Boeselager family,

I have very fond memories of a trip with Linda to spend a couple of weeks with Bonnie when she was in the Navy, stationed at Flower Bluff NAS. She was a beautiful person who I was happy to connect with again on Facebook.

May her memory continue to bless you all. May she rest in paradise.

Please accept my sincere and heartfelt sympathy.

Testimonials

Last warm-hearted care of our mother

Words cannot even begin to express the tremendous gratitude our family has for a team like the one at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home & Crematory. Thank you for the gentle lovely care over our mother Delia (Rosa) Balderas. Never having had a direct experience with a funeral home to this extent we didnt know what to expect. We didnt have a clue that they would step right in and have the most comforting team surrounding us that thought of ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING for anyone in our position. It was very evident from the first discussion on the phone that they were already well prepared to handle every little detail for us that we weren’t even aware would be required. Mark and his team truly eased so much of the unknown worries right out of our path, and left room for us to just focus on the small personal details we wanted for our mom. It was nice to know that all cost involved was in black and white on their site as well as on paper at our first meeting. Leaving no room for question or doubt what so ever with any fee involved. It was truly a blessing to have everything written out so well and simplified with various price range options in a time that we needed crystal clear direction. Its been beautiful to see that their care and service didnt stop after our mom’s service came to an end. They continue to be in communication with immediate responses as questions arise along the way. God bless Mark, and the entire compassionate team, to be around to guide many many more for generations to come through life’s most difficult times. You are all truly amazing.
