Brenda Krause, age 86, passed away on September 21, 2026.

Born in Kentucky and raised in Racine, Wis., Brenda lived an adventurous life. From hopping freight trains for short rides around town with her best friend, Karla, to swimming with dolphins, to traveling to Europe. Brenda retired from the Jackson County Sheriff 's Department as a Deputy Sheriff in 2002.

She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Folstrom; son, Scott (Missy) Krause; brothers, Bob (Barbara) Medlin, and Mickey Medlin; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and best friend, Karla Christensen.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Sid Krause and her son, Eddie Krause.

A private ceremony will be held by the family.
