Byron D. Beadles, age 56, of Racine passed away on September 1, 2023. Byron was born in Austin, TX on October 13, 1966, a son of Will E. and LeLar M. (nee: Jackson) Beadles Jr. A graduate of William Horlick High School, Byron was employed as a caregiver in several group homes. He enjoyed music, family gatherings, and the time  spent with  children and grandchildren. Byron is survived by his parents, Will and LeLar Beadles; his three children, Brandon and Ashley Perkins (Timothy Cathron), and Ryon Perkins-Beadles (Lexus Ritter; his grandchildren, Ameariona Robinson, Amari Davis, Ariah Redmond, Amiya Perkins, Ashton Perkins-Cathron, Aviyanna Perkins; a brother, Wendell Henderson, and three children whom he helped raise, Alexzandrea, Savannah, and Melissa Leatherman.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Lesa Beadles on August 1, 2023.

Service Details

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home. A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Interment will take place on Monday, September 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Graceland Cemetery.
