Carl Wilson Jr was born in Chicago, Illinois, on January 17, 1979, to Carl Wilson Sr and Pamela Wilson.

Carl was a member of Second Baptist of Racine, WI, and accepted Christ as his Savior at a young age. Carl and his family moved to Kenosha, Wisconsin in 1993, where he attended Washington Junior High and Mary D. Bradford High School. He graduated from Ashford University with a bachelor's degree in Human Resource. He was a man who frequently took risks and put his money into numerous small business operations in the neighborhood. He adored fashion, particularly high-end footwear. He was interested in history, travel, and automobiles. He was well-known as a prankster. Lil' Carl loved for his sister Kisha to cook for him. Carl had two nicknames: "Lil Carl" for his family and "Twin" for his friends, as well as a slew of other nicknames for his loved ones. He had a way of making everyone feel special in their interaction with him. On March 11, 2022, Carl Wilson Jr passed away.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Pamela Wilson and Step-Father Fate Davis of Kenosha, WI; identical twin, Calvin Wilson of Racine, WI; children, Brandon Wilson, Ashanti Wilson of Racine, WI, and Carly Wilson of Indianapolis, IN; his bonus children, Taylor Griffin of Racine, WI, Damien Robinson of Indianapolis, IN; his siblings, Nat'e Wilson, Lakisha Woodland of Kenosha, WI, Latreece (Marcus) Reed of Chicago, IL, Darrah Walker of Hammond, IN, Tyran (Latonya) Jackson, Trenisha Vinson of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Zendaya Wilson, Lauren Wilson, Bjai Wilson of Racine, WI; God mother Tina Posey of Kenosha, WI, God sister, Tiana Razaa, Shameia Jones of Kenosha, WI; God children, Dashawn Grandberry, Dominque Norphlet Jr of Racine, WI; play sister Evelyn Flora of Racine, WI; Best Friends, Juan Bustamante Jr and Dominque Norphlet Sr of Racine, WI; Special Friends, Monica Driver and Tracy Woods of Racine, WI, and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

His father, Carl Wilson Sr., grandparents Herman and Sarah Wilson, and Florence Evans preceded him in death.
