Carl T. Mitchell Jr., 21, was called Home by his Lord and Savior on Friday, April 18, 2009 Carl was born in Racine on May 7, 1987 the son of Sherry McFarland and Carl Mitchell Sr. Surviving are his mother Sherry McFarland; father Carl Mitchell Sr.; children Cameron, Calayah, Camayah, and Rayshari Mitchell; grandmothers, Ruth McFarland and Dorothy Mitchell; sisters, Darkela (Dwan) Earl, Dorindra, Dorothy, and Qilinda Latrice Mitchell, brothers, Walter Jermaine Wilson Jr., and Cartiece Mitchell, his close friend Daimon (Dee) Jackson.. A host of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends also survive him. Carl was preceded in death by his granddad Willie Thomas McFarland, his great grandparents Hattie and Sylvester Campbell. . His Homegoing Service will be celebrated at 12 O'clock noon on Friday, April 24th in Searching Together Baptist Church, 825-21st St., with Rev. Jimmie Lockridge officiating. Visitation will be in the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Cremation will follow.
