Carlton C. Claybourn, 92, died in the United Hospital System-Kenosha, on Sunday, October 1, 2006. He was born in Ohio on January 12, 1914, the son of the late Leslie and Elsie (nee: Gray) Claybourn. On November 26, 1936, in Rice Lake, WI, he was united in marriage to the former Ruth N. Stroede. Mr. Claybourn had been employed by the Miehle Corporation for over Claybourns moved to Kenosha in 2002. Surviving are his loving wife of nearly 70 years, Ruth; their children Charlotte (Jack) Stemper of Nisswa, MN, and John Claybourn of Kenosha; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. In keeping with Mr. Claybourn's wishes, cremation and private services were held.
