Carol will be remembered as a lady who was full of life and a treat to spend time with. She enjoyed playing cards, reading, watching Championship Ice Skating, and sitting down with a Sub from Lee's Deli to watch the Packers. Carol was very proud of her family, and treasured the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Carol was a faithful member the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer.
She is survived by her children, David (Brenda Brown) Dresen of Milwaukee, JoAnn (Alvin) Malm of Madison, Susan (Norman) Wilde of Racine, Cathy (Christopher) Rider of Burlington, and Barbara (Steve Hamman) Juwa of Madison; grandchildren, Ingrid (Jim) Bishop, Leonard Wilde, Benjamin (Jessica) Wilde, Zachary Wilde, Angela Zabler, Joseph (Juliana Rolland) Lofquist, Corey Juwa, Sergio Juwa, Kevin Rider, and Joseph Rider; great-grandchildren, Jacob Wilde, Nadia and Miriam Bishop, and Caitlyn and Alena Zabler; sisters, Bette (Raymond) Kirsch, and Sharon (Joseph) Rauch; as well as many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded by her sons-in-law, Carl Lofquist, and Stephen Juwa.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2010 with Rev. Dave Echelbarger officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Committal services will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 12
