Mt. Pleasant – Carol Ann Hochfeld, 65, passed away in her sleep on Monday, July 6, 2015. She was born in Racine on September 18, 1949 and was a lifelong area resident.

Carol was a loving wife and mother; a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother; and a dear friend. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her. May she rest in peace.

Carol is survived by her husband of 38 years, Karl Hochfeld of Mt. Pleasant; her children, Tina Wasik in Texas, Tim Wasik Jr. of Racine, Michelle (Robert) Markham in Virginia, and Babette Hochfeld of Saukville; grandchildren, Justin (Jessi) Sgarlata, Corey (Brandi) Sgarlata, Elena Hernandez, Skyland Childress, William (Justine) Fuchs, and Bruce Francois; her dear best friend, Cindy (Tim) Fitzgerald of Tomahawk; as well as other relatives and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Shirley (nee: Jacobson) Cramer.

A Service of Remembrance will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2015. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in Caledonia. Visitation in the funeral home will begin at 12 noon.
