Carol M. Williams

Jan 6, 1948 – Apr 21, 2009

Kenosha – Carol M. Williams, 61, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 following a courageous battle with Lymphoma. Carol was born in Milwaukee on January 6, 1948 to the late Peter and Germaine (nee: Watson) Williams. A graduate of Union Grove High School, she lived in Milwaukee until moving to Kenosha in 1999. Carol was employed by Ametek-Lamb Electric for over 33 years until the closure of the company. Following, she went on to pursue a horticulture degree from Gateway Technical College. Sadly, she was forced to resign when diagnosed with terminal lymphoma in 2008. Carol will be remembered for her kind and loving spirit who had no enemies. She was a passionate people person and had a great zest for life. Carol enjoyed gardening, needlepoint and her ethnic Norwegian heritage. Above all, she loved and cherished being in the surroundings of her entire family. Surviving are her brothers and sisters, William (Nancy) Williams, Robert Williams, Lois (Jim) Driskill, Jane Hensler, Joan Lehninger, Dan (Rose) Williams, Irvin (Darlene) Williams and Stacy (Dawn) Williams; her loving companion, John Fornal; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention by name. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 11:00 am with Rev. Mark Barnett officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Tuesday from 9-11 am. Private interment will take place at Lake View Cemetery in Rib Lake on Wednesday.

Gary is a warm, kind, loving, human being. He seems to have passed that quality onto the rest of his family. I have deep respect for him and his family. I have been able to say goodbye to several of my friends in this beautiful facility. God Bless.
