Carolina Garcia Ramirez 92, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family .

She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Basurto Garza , her parents, Epifanio Garcia and Maria Ramirez, her children Silvina, Antonio, and Jose Luis, and several siblings.

She is survived by her children, Maria Guadalupe (Marcelino) Ofelia, Maria and Maria del Rosario, one sister Irene, and many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and friends.

For many years in Mexico, she worked as a stitcher. Due to declining health, she moved to Texas in 2012 to live with her youngest daughter, Maria del Rosario and her family, before settling in Racine to live with her daughter Maria Guadalupe and her family.  She enjoyed sewing, watching Mexican Golden Age Cinema and spending time with her family.

She will be greatly missed by her family and all the people who have come to know and love her .

A special thank you to Dr. Reginald Adams and staff, and the many nurses and social workers that helped her on her journey with dementia .
