Racine – Casey Timothy McLeod, age 61, passed away unexpectedly at Ascension All Saints Hospital on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
Casey was born in Racine, WI on December 24, 1964 to the late Kenneth Charles McLeod and Marie Martha (nee: Szymanski) McLeod. Casey truly enjoyed his longtime 20-year career at Brusha’s Restaurant as a bartender and other duties – he considered them family as they were longtime friends. Then, Casey went to work for Burlington Graphics….before moving over to Hallman Lindsay Paints. Casey, along with sister Kimberly, faithfully spent numerous years caring for their mom. They were there for her when she needed them most. In recent years, Casey was the Racine Restaurant Review critic on social media.
To know Casey was to love him. He had many, many friends that he considered all to be family. He was passionate driving his baby pride & joy, 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T Hemi-Mopar; swimming & soaking up the sun at SC Johnson Swim Park, YMCA (indoor palm trees), and Quarry Lake Park – earning the nickname “Tan Man”; hard rock music with his favorite local band being “Blind Ambition”; but also enjoyed the peace & quiet of being at home.
Surviving are his sister, Kimberly (William) Busarow; brother, Richard L. (Sue) Anderson; sister-in-law, Joannia Anderson (Gary’s late wife); niece, Charlene (Greg) Plantz; nephews, Brett Anderson, John Anderson & Curtis Anderson; the Szymanski and Wrzesinski families; best-friends, Majors Geff & Leti Crowell of the Salvation Army; many cousins, other relatives & friends – too numerous to mention all by name.
Casey was preceded in death by his dad, Kenneth C. McLeod; mom, Marie M. McLeod; brother, Gary Robert Anderson; and many special aunts & uncles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 6:00 pm in St. Lucy Catholic Church, 3101 Drexel Avenue, with Fr. Jose Mario Nieto officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Tuesday, October 13th, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm in church. Private interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials to the family has been suggested.
