Obituary

Kenosha (formerly of Racine) – Charles Franklin Bach, Jr., age 92, passed away peacefully at home, with family at his side, on Sunday afternoon, April 18, 2021.

One of 3 sons, Charles was born in Kenosha on July 8, 1928 to the late Charles and Harriet (nee: Manske) Bach, Sr. A graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School, Charles faithfully served our country with the United States Marine Corps from 1946-1948. Shortly after, he was united in marriage with the love of his life, Theresa "Tess" (nee: Funk) on June 18, 1949 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Sturtevant.

In retirement, Charles & Tess spent 25 wonderful winters in St. George, Utah. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and Kenosha Moose Lodge #286. To say the least, Charles was an extreme Wisconsin sports fan – Brewers, Packers, Badgers & Bucks. He was a self-proclaimed assistant manager, advisor & critic for the Brewers and never missed the most important sporting event of the year: Army vs. Navy football game. Charles was also quite the golfer, having won the Senior Golf Championship at Washington Park "Muni" Golf Course. Above all, Charles loved spending time with his entire family & circle of friends.
