Racine – Charles E. Bartsch, 75, passed away at home.

Born in the town of Berlin, WI on December 9, 1947, the son of the late Charles F. and Helen E. (Stratton) Bartsch.  He moved to Racine in 1955 with his family.  He graduated from Washington Park H.S. in June 1966. He Joined the United States Air Force and served 8 years including in Thailand. After his military service, he enjoyed working on cars and playing softball.

He was employed by Western Publishing, Jacobsen Mfg., and other manufacturing positions with Manpower and Adecco.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, and many aunts, uncles, and one cousin.

Charles is survived by his brother, Michael L. (Mary) Bartsch, nephew, Guy M. Bartsch, and niece Elizabeth J. (Jeremy) Mathis, and many cousins.
