Charles (Chuck or Bud) Wahl, 79, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away at Ascension-All Saints Hospital on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. He was born in Racine on December 31, 1945, the son of the late Charles and Helen (NEE: Fandry) Wahl Sr.

Chuck was a graduate of Washington Park High School Class of 1964. After graduation, Chuck followed in his father's footsteps and enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. On October 11,1969, Chuck was united in marriage to Melonie Ager. Unfortunately, she preceded him in death on June 15, 2008. He was employed by Kinney Shoes and later joined the family business, JCT Trucking. Chuck was a classic car collector. His pride and joy were his IRIS MIST 65 GTO and his 37 YELLOW Chevy Business Coupe.

Surviving are his dog, Sophie; sister, Joanne; nephew, Charles Wahl III, both of Racine; aunt, Jackie Wahl; sister-in-law, Mardel (Rob) Fisher of Caledonia; and their children, Nicholas (Cassandra) Fisher (daughter, Ellison) and Samantha Fisher.

In addition to his parents and wife Melonie, Chuck was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Iva Ager; brother-in law, Bill Ager; and sister-in-law, Marlene (Jess) Holbrook. Grandparents, Ted and Margaret (Jaeger) Wahl; uncle, Howard Wahl; aunt, Betty Wahl; aunt, Gladys (Bill) Krause; uncle, Lloyd and Nancy Wahl; special friends, LeRoy, Dennis and Pat; many other uncles, aunts and cousins also preceded him in death.

Memorials may be sent to Veteran's Outreach, Fischer House Milwaukee, WI Humane Society Racine and The Racine Zoo.

Service Details

His funeral service, with full military honors, will be held in the funeral home on November 30 ^th at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will be prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Private burial will take place at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
