Chet "Iggie" Iglinski, 90, finished his earthly journey on Friday, August 2, 2019, at the Aurora Zilber Family Hospice, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Milwaukee on October 2, 1928 the son of the late Vincent and Regina (nee: Mudloff) Iglinski.
"Iggie" served his country with the U.S. Marines Corps. On January 10, 1981, in Holy Name Catholic Church, he was united in marriage the love of his life and soulmate, Nancy C. Getman. He was a pattern maker by trade and worked at several different companies including Wisconsin Pattern. "Iggie" was a master woodworker and enjoyed bird/ and hawk watching, and outdoor adventures with his beloved wife, Nancy.
Surviving are the wife he cherished above all else, Nancy; his three children, Joseph (Katie) Iglinski, in Georgia, David Iglinski, in South Carolina, and Cari Ann (Bob) Williams, of Rome, OH; grandchildren, Tom (Leanne), Amanda, Michael, Sirena, and Ian (Samantha); great grandchildren, Nathan and Nola; and sister, Ann May, of Carson City, NV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Iglinski; and sisters, Florence Woida, and Barbara Dominguez. Nancy would like to acknowledge the entire staff of Zilber Hospice for the compassion and care they so lovingly shared with "Iggie".
In keeping with "Iggie's" wish, a private service was held.
