Service Details

A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held at Casa Capri Restaurant (2921 Birch Road, Kenosha) on June 22, 2025 from 1:00 PM- 4:00 PM. Please refer to the funeral home website for to leave condolences.

Cindy Plew, 74, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Friday, May 16th, 2025 at Hospice Alliance in Pleasant Prairie.

Born January 26th, 1951, she was the daughter of the late George Diel and Elizabeth (Hagopian) Diel. Cindy was educated in Kenosha schools and lived in Kenosha for the majority of her life. On December 28th, 1970 she married the love of her life, Robert “Pinky” Plew. Cindy worked in customer service for many years. Her hobbies included baking, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert Plew; her three daughters, Amy (Nelson) Phelps, Kelly (Steven) Essiembre, and Lisa (Jose) Contreras; her two grandchildren, Annika Essiembre and Alejandro Contreras; her sister, Elizabeth Cummings; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Elizabeth Diel; and her brothers, George Diel, Thomas Diel, Kenneth Diel, and William Diel.

A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held at Casa Capri Restaurant (2921 Birch Road, Kenosha) on June 22, 2025 from 1:00 PM- 4:00 PM. Please refer to the funeral home website to leave condolences.
