Claude "Skipp" Worden, 57, passed away, unexpectedly, from complications following surgery. He was born in Racine, WI on October 18, 1967, the son of Claude M. Worden and Linda L. (nee: Fergus) Brown.

Skipp started his educational journey at J.I. Case High School. He was the Executive Chef for the Racine Marriott of New Castle Hotels & Resorts and was a traveling chef for 30 years. He worked multiple times in Racine, as well as in Montauk, NY 1997-2002, and Jekyll Island, GA 2016-2022. He retired from his professional work after suffering a debilitating stroke. He launched his own spice and salsa company, Skipp's Spicy Licks.

Skipp enjoyed spending his days spoiling his rescue kittens, Wylde & Sweetpea, was a member of Great Lakes Church-Kenosha and recently joined Spokes Fighting Strokes. Skipp's first love was playing guitar and during his life, he belonged to several bands and wrote a lesson book.

Surviving are his life partner and best friend, Amy Lesch, of Mount Pleasant, WI; son, Julian Musica-Worden, of San Jose, CA; mother, Linda Fergus Brown, of Sturtevant, WI; sister, Leslie (Robert) Trentadue, of Sturtevant; siblings, Stephen Kupper, of Monroe, WI, Tamara Worden-Peterson, of Oshkosh, WI, David (Laurie) Brown, of Necedah, WI, Robert (Megan) Brown, of Illinois; aunts, Debbie Fergus, of Minnesota, Sandy Hesse Fergus, of Sturtevant, Marianne LaCanne, of Racine, Patty (Al) Thomas, of Presque Isle, WI, and Sandy Carter, of Fond du Lac, WI. He is further survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives, friends, and co-workers.

Skipp was preceded in death by his father, Claude M. Worden, and Dad, Andrew Brown; Grandparents, Bud (Gwen) Worden, Richard J. (Elaine-Pudgy) Fergus; Uncle, Richard N. Fergus; Aunts Verleen Crull and Helen Worden.
