Constance “Connie” Fragale, 79, passed away peacefully at the Lakeshore at Siena Nursing Home on Sunday, February 1, 2026. She will be forever in our hearts.

Connie was born on February 19, 1946 in Racine, WI to Clyde and Charlotte Nelson. She was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Fragale on July 17, 1965 in in a ceremony at the Nelson’s home in Racine.

Always one to put the feelings of those around her before her own, Connie was unselfish almost to a fault. While small in stature, she was never one to back down from a challenge even during her twilight years. Whether it was ziplining high above Fremont Street in Las Vegas or kayaking around the lake with her children and grandkids, she never shied away from an adventure. Connie enjoyed a good song, a good book and spending quality time with her family and friends. Later in life, she developed into a top Cornhole competitor and those lucky enough to partner up with her at a family picnic or a senior living tourney were always the better for it. She enjoyed spending her sunset years in the Parkview Puzzle room with her friends enjoying their hobbies over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.

She graduated St. Catherines High School in 1964 before attending Madison Business College. Connie worked at several retail outlets before settling into a career in the Administration Department of Warren Industries and later retired in 2016.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Stacey (Andy) Spiering; son, Scott (Sandy) Fragale; grandchildren, Alyssa Spiering, Ben (Sierra) Spiering and Alexandra (Kevin) Kortendick; great-grandchildren, Madison and Maxwell; sister, Mary Claire Johnson; and brothers, Pat Nelson and Tim (Barb) Nelson.
