On Sunday, August 30, 2020, with her husband by her side, Cynthia K. Barrows (Cindy) passed away peacefully at Ascension All Saints in Racine WI.

Born on May 24, 1957 in Meriden CT to Frank and Alphonsina (Vermeulen) Kiewlen.  Married to John Barrows Jr. on May 29, 1982 they started their lives together and what a life they lived. Cindy blessed us with 3 children, all of whom are forces of their own. Cindy was full of life, and always a great time. Raising her kids on the basis that they were "guilty until proven innocent", John and she gave them the best life they could. Always called "Mom" by all her children's friends, her home was a place anyone could go to if they needed a place to stay with no questions asked. Cindy would give her opinion  with out a flinch or an apology, but she never dismissed you for yours, and If it didn't work out  she always welcomed you home with open arms and maybe a sly "I told you so".  Cindy spent her time working at CNH as an accountant till her forced retirement from her illness in 2018. She enjoyed bowling and golfing as her health allowed it. Backyard porch parties with her neighbor and close friend Julie. Vacations with family to the Wisconsin Dells, or trips with John to Tennessee and Mexico with their friends Jack and Susan. Nothing brought Cindy more joy than her 3 grandchildren, and although unable to spend as much time in the end with them as she wanted to, they were always on her mind.

Cindy will be missed by her husband of 38 years John, Children Francis (Mari), Barbara (Andy), John III, and stepchildren Kristen (Forrest) and Clifton.  Grandchildren Ethan, Emily, and sweet Gavin. Brother Joseph Kiewlen. Cindy is preceded in death by her parents Alphonsina and Frank Kiewlen, John's parents John and Barbara Barrows, and her neighbor and close friend Roy Edwards.

The family would like to extend their extreme gratitude to the Nurses and Doctors at Ascension All Saints who have touched Cindy's life over the years. She appreciated everything you did all the way to the end and there are not any words that can say "Thank You" enough.
