Racine – Daari Susan Pawelski; age 49; passed away unexpectedly as a result of a heart attack on Tuesday, May 26, 2015.

Daari was born in Racine on March 1, 1966 to the late George and Diane (nee: Foote) Pawelski. She received her education from SC Johnson, Mitchell and JI Case High School "Class of 1984". Always wanting to help others, Daari was employed at Westview Nursing Home from age 18 until she turned 30. With the elderly having a special place in her heart, Daari decided to pursue her nursing degree from Gateway Technical College. Following graduation, she served as a geriatric nurse at several nursing homes in Racine & Kenosha.

Outside of nursing, Daari had the eye for interior design. Surviving tough times in her own life, Daari loved helping others that were down on their luck. She enjoyed telling stories and truly had the gift to gab.

Surviving are her adored children, Samantha (age 17) & Maxwell (age 14) Tussler; dear sister, Denise Pawelski; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Daari was preceded in death by her mother, Diane Pawelski on January 25, 2012; father, George "Polish Prince" Pawelski on June 25, 2014; and the father of her children, Todd Tussler, on May 27, 2007.

Memorial services celebrating Daari's life will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 12:00 noon. Visitation will be in the funeral on Saturday from 10 am – 12 noon.  Memorials to the family for Daari's children have been suggested.
