Dagmar V. Anderson, 86, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at her residence in the loving arms of her family. She was born in Rockford the daughter of the late Carl and Helga Bergquist. Dagmar was a dental assistant and also worked at the Odens Gift Shop. Her greatest joy was being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. We were so blessed to have her in our lives. Dagmar is survived by her daughter Barbara (Mike) Hartman, son James Anderson, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and sister Eva. She was preceded in death by sisters, Lily and Sonia, and brothers, Vern and Charles. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private graveside service held at a later date. In lieu of flowers Dagmar's wish was to be remembered by extending a helping hand, or bit of kindness to a needy child, or someone elderly.
