Racine, WI – Dal'reese "Dale" Shamel Ghani, age 38, received his wings unexpectedly on May 28, 2022. He was born on March 11, 1984, in Racine, Wisconsin to Melody Jean McMorris and the late Shaheed Abdul Ghani II of Milwaukee, WI.
He received his formal education in the Racine Unified School System, and he received his diploma from Horlick High School in Racine, WI. He went on to further his education at Gateway Technical College studying Human Services. Dal'reese accepted Christ as his Savior at a very early age. He was employed at Ascension-All Saints Hospital for 6 years as a Dietary Aide. In his free time Dal'reese enjoyed singing, dancing and listening to his favorite artists Beyonce' and Megan The Stallion. More than anything he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was always the life of every party and will be missed dearly.
Dal'reese leaves to cherish his memory, his loving grandparents Rachiel and Shaheed A. Ghani Sr., his beautiful mother Melody Jean McMorris; siblings Ciara and Daizon Scott, Kei'Anthony Mitchell and Shaheerah Ghani; aunts Dornice (James) Carodine, Vanessa McMorris and Jamillah (Myron) Epps all of Racine, WI., Hallema (Bynum) Vines and Reasheda Ghani of Woodbridge, VA; uncles Roosevelt (Janet) McMorris Jr. of Milwaukee, WI, Abdullah (Athena) Ghani of Atlanta, GA, Naseer Ghani, Ricky (Joann) McMorris, Darryl McMorris, Charles (Yolanda) McMorris and Ronnie (Teresa) McMorris all of Racine, WI and his best friend Shannon Schuppner of Racine, WI., in addition to a host of other relatives and friends.
Dal'reese was preceded in death by his father Shaheed Abdul Ghani II; grandparents Roosevelt McMorris Sr and Nancy Sue (nee: Taylor) McMorris; aunts Cheryl and Brenda McMorris; cousins Titonara Laquan Mayfield, Baby Roosevelt McMorris III, and Marcus Caldwell Jr.
A Celebration of His Life will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022, 11:00am in the chapel of Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home, 4600 County Line Rd., Racine, WI. Visitations will be in the chapel 10:00am – 11:00am. Interment will take place in West Lawn Memorial Park, Racine, WI.
Due to the current increase of Covid-19 cases, the family is requiring masks to be worn at all times while in the funeral home.
