Racine – Dana Lynn (nee: Christensen) Stellman, age 54, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 1, 2014 in the emergency room of Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center.
Dana was born in Racine on February 16, 1960 to the late Gilbert and Lois (nee: Nielsen) Christensen. She graduated from Washington Park High School in 1977. On October 15, 1988 she was united in marriage with the love of her life, Kelly John Stellman.
With a strong faith in God and always having her Bible with her in her purse, Dana grew up at Calvary Memorial Church and currently worshiped at Grace Church. She was a highly skilled fashion designer and had staged merchandise advertising professionally for Boston Stores. Her love of nature was reflected in everything she did. Dana's gentleness and compassion endeared her to all she met. Her many interests included the collection of antiques, the raising of her canine-child, Kalea, and the enjoyment of the many arts that filled her life.
Surviving are her loving husband and lifetime soul-mate, Kelly; brothers, Perry (Sherry) Christensen and Tad (Gina) Christensen; father-in-law, Frank Stellman; sister-in-law, Kimberly (Scott) Bremer; brother-in-law, Kevin (Rebecca) Stellman; adored nieces and nephews, Andrew, Noah and Alli Christensen; Micaela and Kendal Christensen; Trisha (Brian) O'Leary and Matthew (Casey) Bremer; Tanya (Dean) Larsen; Tai and Allyson Stellman; other dear relatives and many special friends – too numerous to mention by name.
In addition to her parents, Dana was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Jeanne (nee: Hammill) Stellman.
A celebration of Dana's life will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 7:00 pm. A reception will follow.
