Daniel L. Bishop, age 71, passed away on March 21, 2024 with his children by his side. Dan lived a fulfilling life as a father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and mentor. Dan loved spending time with family, riding motorcycles, listening to music, watching sports, and sharing his wisdom and advice. He was proud of his ability to relate to people with different backgrounds, and he always found a way to make those in his life feel special and connected to him. Dan was incredibly thoughtful; he was a gracious host and always made sure to have specific snacks, treats, and beverages on hand for guests. Dan was also generous. He lived the concept of "paying it forward" by not only giving his time to his communities, but also by donating to many causes.

Dan is survived by his children Ben (Tammy), MacKenzie (Don), and Abby (Mac) and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by many siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother (Barbara), brothers (Ronnie, Jeff, and Greg), and many close friends.

Family and friends are invited to meet at Memorial Hall (72 7th Street in Racine) on Saturday, April 6, 2024 for a visitation from 2:00 p.m – 6:00 p.m. A service celebrating his life will follow at 6:00 p.m.

The family welcomes donations to Cancer Research Institute in lieu of flowers.
