Darlene M. Greenwood, 70, died at her residence on Monday, January 1, 2007. She was born in Racine on July 17, 1936, and was raised by her very special aunt and uncle, Marian and Thomas Coffey. She was a lifetime resident of Racine. She attended Plymouth Congregational Church. She was a longtime employee Racine Unified School District, working the majority of her career at Jerstad-Angerholm and Stabuck middle schools. Surviving are her daughter Diana Greenwood; her grandchildren, Amanda, Jayson, Jacob and Michael; her cousins, other relatives and friends. Darlene was preceded in death by her mother, aunt, uncle, her husband Arthur, and by her tow sons John and Michael "Mick". Her memorial service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, January 5th, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials should be directed to Diana.
