Obituary

Darlene Emily Patrizzi passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at the age of 82. She was born on November 9, 1943, in Racine, Wisconsin, daughter of the late John and Emily (nee: Yugo) Bogdanoff. Darlene was united in marriage to Victor M. Patrizzi on December 31, 1987. Victor preceded her in death on March 27, 2019.

A dedicated loan officer with Wells Fargo, Darlene devoted her career to serving others with integrity and compassion. Her commitment extended beyond her professional life, as she actively volunteered for Tex Reynolds Toys for Tots, exemplifying her generous spirit and deep care for the community.

Darlene's interests brought her immense joy, from tending to her backyard garden and creating beautiful quilts to enjoying her recreation of bowling and golfing. She also enjoyed traveling in and outside the United States and cherished her falls spent in Door County, where she took pleasure in the scenic beauty and tranquility of nature. Known for her exceptional baking and cooking of family recipes, Darlene delighted family and friends throughout the years.

She is survived by her loving children: Don (Kim) Jacob, Denise (nee: Jacob) (Roland) Weier, David Jacob,  grandchildren: Danielle (Jeremy), Courtney (Justin), Justin, Jessica (Dale), and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Ella, Trenton, Emrey, Emmett, Braxton; brother: B. John (Pat) Bogdanoff; sister: Diane (nee: Bogdanoff) Mahler; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and her dear friends too numerous to mention.  Darlene's warm presence and infectious smile will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate to know her.

In addition to her parents and husband, Darlene is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Gerald Mahler.

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road.
